1. **Murphy's Law**: The more you fear something, the more likely it is to happen. Don not fear by thinking of the worst, think about the best outcome. 2. **Wilson's Law** - If you prioritize knowledge and intelligence, money will continue to come. 3. **Falkland's Law** - If you don't have to make a decision about something, then don't decide. 4. **Gilbert's Law** - When you take on a task, finding the best ways to achieve the desired result is always your responsibility. --- ### Murphy's Law > *Anything that can go wrong will go wrong* - You need not think about the worse case scenario constantly. If it is meant to be, it will. - But if it (the worst case) is not meant to happen, and you keep thinking about it happening, then it is likely to happen. - Therefore, think about the best, do not be scared whatsoever. - Be optimistic, pessimism gets you nowhere. ### Wilson's Law > *Learn and learn, and the **L** becomes silent* - Continuous learning and intellectual growth will lead to financial stability, resulting in success and thus, personal fulfillment. - Always listen, let the others speak - If you feel the person is speaking for nothing, be optimistic and still try to grasp good stuff. - There is always some good in bad. - Never leave learning, there is always something more to left to be read, something more left to be learnt. ### Falkland's Law > *Not every situation requires immediate attention* - Start delaying decisions until they're absolutely necessary. - I am saying decisions, not tasks. Tasks that are to be completed should be done at the earliest. - Whereas decisions should not be taken impulsively. - You should always make decisions at such points of time where without making one, you cannot proceed. - This gives you a clarity while in the exact moment of taking the decision - you can easily lay down the pros and cons ### Gilbert's Law > *Be efficient* - Whenever you face yourself with a task - Jot down these: - the end products that you **have** to achieve, - the way(s) you have to proceed, - the problems that might arise, - the most efficient way according to you, - the time frame, **stick to IT**. - Doing the tasks you have in the most efficient way with the best outcome is your responsibility towards yourself. - Efficient does not mean easy, nor fastest. It is maximum satisfaction with limited use of resources, this achieving perfection. --- ***Example:*** - For instance, you are faced with - "exams coming up and the need to complete the syllabus" - "Finishing these topics [...], solve previous question papers, appear for mock tests and score at least a 95% in these" - "Study, practice questions, attend lectures" - "procrastination, reels, instant gratification, laziness" - "Delete instagram, reduce screen time, wake up early, sleep early, say '1-2-3' and start the work rather than waiting for the 'perfect' time" - 30 days - time frame, - by 20th day - complete learning, - by 25th day - solve at least 4 PYQs - by 28th day - appear for at least two mock tests - 2 days, revise and reflect --- ---
